Please note we are currently only servicing houses on Sundays.
Section I: Service Procedure

Your service will be completed on the Sunday of the week that corresponds to the section you are located in within the metro Phoenix Valley. You will receive an email confirming your service date a minimum of 3 days prior to your service.

All services will be carried out on Sundays between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.
*service on days other than Sunday may be requested but is not guaranteed
*If your service date falls on a holiday it may be subject to change
*The type of salt (crystal, pellets, potassium, etc) is guaranteed, however, the brand of client preference may be requested but is not guaranteed

A client’s service subscription is continuous and automatic until canceled.
A service will not be carried out if no payment has been made for that month.

The client does not need to be present at the time of service, but the technician does need a way to access the water softener system.
*If we are unable to access your system 1 bag of salt will be left at your door
-if you are unable to fill the salt yourself the service may be rescheduled for a small fee

On the day of your service:
-The technician will arrive in a marked vehicle (sticker on the door of the vehicle), in the outlined Salty Friend uniform.
-The technician will then follow the instructions as outlined per your client information sheet filled out when you registered for the service.
-The technician will bring salt with them, access the water softener system, and refill the salt in your system.
-The technician will refill the salt in your water softener system TO THE WATER LINE with a variability of +/- 1 inch. This is standard Salty Friend procedure. If the client wishes to have the salt filled to a different amount, that must be specified, but Salty Friend and its employees are not responsible for any damages that are caused by a special request as such.
*-Following the salt refill, the technician will take a photo of the salt in the water softener system to keep on file. This image will then be sent via text message (SMS) or email to the client to ensure that the service has been fulfilled, upon request.
-Additionally, the technician will leave a laminated service card with all of the service details on the water softener system. This card will state when the service was completed, who completed the service, and the next scheduled service date.
-If the salt in your water softener system gets too low long before your next service, contact Salty Friend, and a solution to help our clients will be reached. If you are signed up for our gray or white plans, we may recommend upgrading to the next highest available if low salt becomes a recurring issue.
-At the end of the service, the technician will place a service card with the correct information about the client's service on the client's water softener system. The technician will then remove all trash from the premise and ensure the area is left exactly as it was found. Salty Friend prides itself on customer satisfaction and strives to uphold the same amount of love and respect for the home as the homeowner does.


Section II: Payment Information

Payment prices will vary based on the plan you sign up for.

Payment Procedure:
-The first payment will be made on the day your sign up. This payment will correspond to your first service.
-From the first day you are charged, you will be charged on that same date every month.
-Each payment will correspond to your next scheduled service although it may not land on the same date as the payment
Forms of accepted payment:
-Credit/Debit card
-Venmo/Zelle
*for this method payment must be made at least 72 hours in advance
*a missed payment will result in no service for that month, it may be rescheduled

Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued after the payment has been made, except if the service technician has made an error during service. If an error has been made, a complaint can be sent to Salty Friend via email for review. A refund will then be issued if such an error is verified.

Section III: Mapping

Salty Friend has divided the Metro-Phoenix Valley into 4 sectors.

Each sector corresponds to a service date. Thus, Sector 1 is the first Sunday of the month, Sector 2 is the second Sunday, etc.

Your geographical location will determine your service date.

However, your first service may be scheduled on a day that does not correspond to your geographical location. This is because the Salty Friend company does not want its clients to have to wait weeks on end for the first service that they paid for upon signing up. Thus, Salty Friend does its best to schedule your first service within 2 weeks of signing up. If there is any overlay between the first and second services that is greater than a month (this only applies to the white plan members) your system will be accommodated.

Section IV: Cancelation
In the event a client wishes to terminate their Salty Friend subscription, the client can:
-Do so via the ‘My Account’ page on the Salty Friend website
Or
-Directly contact Salty Friend via phone or email for cancellation

Cancelation is due 24 hours prior to the payment for the month the client wishes to cancel.
If the payment for that month has already been made, the service will be carried out with no refund.

Section V: Liability
The Salty Friend company and its employees are not liable for any damages, system harm, or other issues that result from the client's water softener system that does not involve direct service.
The Salty Friend company and its employees are not liable if:
-There are any damages or harm to the system that are not from a service
-The client adds unnecessary salt to the water softener system
-The level of salt in the water softener system is lower than it should be between services
-Any damages from entering the home are present
-Any health issues that result from home water use
-Salty Friend is not liable for any damages caused or discovered after service cancellation
-We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason
